The first recorded team in Redmarley was in 1924; since then the club has been reformed three times with the latest being in the summer of 2009.

The new Redmarley FC team is a very young squad with a lot of the players coming straight out of youth football from Newent in 2009.

The current Redmarley FC was formed by Matt Lee. At the time, Matt was just 16 when he decided to form the club and goes down in North Gloucestershire Football League history as the youngest chairman and youngest manager ever in the county.

In their first season, the new Redmarley team finished 2nd in the North Gloucestershire Division 4 and gained promotion to the 3rd Division.

On 11th December 2010, Redmarley FC went to the top of the table for the first time since being refounded in the summer of 2009.

Redmarley FC finished the 2010/2011 season 3rd place in the North Gloucestershire Division 3, which was enough to see them gain back to back promotions to put them into division 2 for the 2011/2012 season.

The 2011/2012 season saw a change of management with Aaron Smith taking over the management role. The season did not go to plan and when players began to leave the club Redmarley found themselves in the bottom two and inevitably were relegated back to Division 3.

2012/2013 saw a fresh start for Redmarley FC as Aaron Smith and Dan Jeeves got preseason underway with more players joining each week. Another change of management occurred in October 2012 where Mr. Andy Davies took the helm and continues to manage with Aaron and Dan acting as a joint assistant manager/coaching role.

On 15th December 2012, Redmarley FC went to the top of the league in Division 3 for the second time since being reformed.

Comeback complete! On the 20th April 2013, Redmarley FC reinstated their position in North Gloucestershire Division 2 with a game to spare and an impressive 4-1 victory over their title rivals Tidenham.
