The Forest of Dean/Herefordshire border area has been selected, as one of four areas, to receive Government funding to pilot the next generation of high speed broadband in rural areas. Procurement, a long process, is underway and seven suppliers have been asked to participate. to provide information on demand it is the intention to carry out a survey of as many households and businesses in the localities as possible. Questionnaires will be delivered to homes in Redmarley, possibly during September.
