The Planning Inspectorate has given the development of two flats and eight semi-detached social houses the green light.

David Kaiserman, Government Planning Inspector has rubber-stamped the plan which was rejected by Forest of Dean District Council back in February this year. Severn Valley Housing Society subsequently appealed this decision and one man has concluded, against all of the objections raised by villagers and district councillors, that this development can go ahead.

Inspector’s report can be found here. Read it and weep folks.
